From Huejotzingo, a small road leads to the town of San Andrés Calpan, which has a unique gem in the Ex-convent of San Andrés. The fabulous chapels of this convent are an excellent example of the architecture that was developed in New Spain in adaptation to indigenous customs. Another good reason to visit San Andrés is the Chile en Nogada Festival, held at the end of August.

To the north lies Domingo Arenas and Huejotzingo, to the east San Pedro Cholula, to the south San Nicolás de los Ranchos and San Jerónimo Tecuanipan, and to the west San Nicolás de los Ranchos.
