The Museum of the Mexican Army and Air Force, is a unique of its kind in the nation, which has high value parts to present to the public the role of these institutions throughout history. In an area of 2 000 200 square meters, the Museum of Mexican Army and Air Force exposed to visitors a tour of military history, from pre-Hispanic times to the present, displayed in 15 rooms, 14 permanent and temporary exhibitions devoted to .

 

The opening of this new exhibition in Puebla was possible to rescue the former College of San Francisco Xavier, work that included the recovery of ancient architectural structures with original techniques, such as new roofs made according to the original design, in the spirit of building; also rehabilitation walls, walls, floors and provision of services such as electricity and drinking water, according to the needs of the site. Among the topics presented include: History of the architectural ensemble of the Antiguo Colegio de San Francisco Xavier; Warrior prehispanic and Conquest; The viceregal militias; Independence Movement; the Liberal Army; the Revolution and the birth of the Mexican Army; Puebla military; life and work of Ignacio Zaragoza; the participation of women and minors in Mexico's armed forces and the army in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, same that can be viewed through equipment, vehicles, facsimile, historical documents, reproductions of flags and clothing, the which make up the collection of 174 pieces of this civic-military compound.
